MISSIONS | LOCAL & GLOBAL

At Hope Chapel, we believe that God’s people are called to share His Word “to the ends of the earth.” Our Mission philosophy is simple: “PRAY; GIVE; GO.” Anyone can be involved in our local and global Missions to various places in the U.S. and around the globe. We invite everyone to PRAY for our teams and the people we are serving; We ask that you GIVE as you are able to support our teams as they travel and minister; and we encourage each person who calls Hope Chapel “home,” to GO on at least one global Mission trip in their lifetime, in addition to serving our local community.

For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ” Luke 14:37

Redwood Gospel Mission

Hope Chapel supports and ministers with the Redwood Gospel Mission (RGM) at various times throughout the year. On the weekend of the Super Bowl, we take a special “Souper Bowl of Caring” offering, benefitting RGM, during our weekend services. We also collect backpacks and school supplies for their Back to School outreach to the community. And we send teams to present a free Photo Booth at their Thanksgiving & Christmas Banquets at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

Family Food Pantry

Hope Chapel’s Family Food Pantry (FFP) began in 2009 as a way to help Hope Chapel families “stretch their month.” Our FFP team consists of: buyers—purchasing food weekly at the Redwood Empire Food Bank; packers—preparing boxes of food to be distributed at our weekend services; and distributors—setting up our FFP tables and lovingly sharing food at our weekend services.

Visit our Family Food Pantry Page for more details.

Hope for the Homeless

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36

Through Men of Hope we serve homeless individuals and communities in Sonoma County, helping keep them alive to hear the Gospel. This ministry is conducted through the offering of nutritious meals as well as donations of tarps, blankets and sleeping bags, coats and socks, and other items as available.

Hope for Cambodia

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after widows and orphans in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27

Hope Chapel sent our first mission team to support the works of Ted & Sou Olbrich (Foursquare Missionaries) in Cambodia in 2004. When the Olbriches arrived in Cambodia in 1999 there was one Foursquare Church operating in the capital city, Phnom Penh. Currently, in Cambodia, there are over 3,000 churches and 108 church orphan homes caring for more than 3,000 orphans as a part of Foursquare Children of Promise International (FCOPI). Since 2004, Hope Chapel has sent mission teams each summer to minister with and support FCOPI in their mission “to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Christ” to the people of Cambodia.
